Music in my ears

Thought I'd just give a quick update on some new and old music that's been my playlist for the past couple of weeks...

Tony Bennett is releasing a new album on September 20th that features duets with a list of great artists.  As just a teaser, right now you can download the first single which is a duet with Michael Buble titled "Don't Get Around Much Anymore".  Totally worth every penny! 

In the "something old" category, I've been listening to Paloma Faith quite a bit in the past few weeks.  If you like Adele, Duffy or Joss Stone...then I think you'll be an instant fan if you aren't already.  Check it out!








Mat Kearney's newest CD, "Young Love" was released today.  If you purchase it on iTunes for $7.99 you get an extra song (Seventeen), if you purchase it on Amazon you only pay $5.99, but if you click on this link you can download a coupon to purchase it at Best Buy with an extra 3-song CD for just $5.99 as well.  The only problem? You still won't get the extra iTunes song.  SO...if you and a friend are both fans - purchase one from Best Buy and one from iTunes and share!  It's REALLY good and definitely a "must have" in your summer playlist.

If you watch SYTYCD, you heard this song on one of the recent dances.  It's an oldie (meaning circa 2007) but a goodie. Definitely worth the $.99 download on Amazon.  Another great "trailer music" song from the show is Bernini's Angels by Kerry Muzzey.  Great stuff if you're looking for an awesome instrumental.






And last but not least, James Morrison is releasing a new album in September (it's about time!).  You'll have to wait for the full album, but if you go to his new website, you can launch a player that will give you a teaser of a few of the songs on the new album (and a few songs from the last album...which if you don't own...um, you need to :)).
