It's getting towards the time of year when new Christmas music is being released, and let me tell you, I get pretty excited about it! Normally I create an annual "Christmas mix" and pass it out to friends and coworkers, but I think I may take a break this year and just sit back and enjoy it all instead. Don't worry, I haven't started holiday music just yet...but definitely soon. There's too much to listen to if I wait until after Thanksgiving!

This week I'm listening to a wide variety of stuff...some old, some new, some heavy and some laid back. I've always been a fan of the acoustic worship style of Shane & Shane, so when I saw they released a new album yesterday, I didn't even take the time to preview it. It's in my playlist and I have a feeling it will be one of the many albums accompanying our drive from Denver to Estes Park and through the Rocky Mountains this weekend.

Last night I went with some friends to see the Michael Jackson "This Is It" movie/documentary. It was so amazing to see the creativity and talent that was going into his final tour. The movies, stage, dancing, lighting, costumes etc. that were created for the tour were pretty amazing. My only disappointment was that after watching all the footage of the rehearsals, you couldn't help but wish to see the final show at the end. If you've ever been a fan of MJ's music, I would recommend seeing it. Very interesting.
